Nice article. Most developers will be using v2 of the API, which uses the tweepy.Client method (instead of tweepy.Api, which is for v1.1). There are a number of advantages of v2, one of which is context annotations, which enable you to get access to the topics that Twitter adds to Tweets. Take a look! :-)
